In 2009 Burt and Tim had the opportunity to rekindle their personal friendship and entered into this new business. CRC, Inc. has over 400 employees and comprises of a Management Team of 25 experienced and long tenured individuals.
Tim is Senior VP & CFO of CRC, Inc. Tim started his career in the 1980's, in Restaurant Management with Wilkins Family Restaurants, known by the brand "Duff's Famous Smorgasbords", a regional east coast chain. From there, Tim has worked with:

Prior to owning and operating his own businesses, Tim held a variety of positions, including District Manager, Human Resource Manager, and Franchise Representative within these corporate entities. In 2000 Tim purchased seven corporate Denny's restaurants in partnership with others. The company grew to include 14 Denny's and five Black Bear Diners in California and Washington state with annual revenues exceeding $15 million.
Ben is VP of Administration for CRC, Inc. Ben has over 35 years of experience in the restaurant and retail industry. He has opened original retail concepts in Detroit, as well as owning and operating restaurants in California. He began his career in the Midwest and opened several clothing and jewelry stores in the prestigious Trappers Alley Mall in Detroit. He also had a clothing import and export business in Dearborn, Michigan.
He relocated to California in 1994 and became a Denny's franchisee, and he also owned and operated B&B Sports Bar. Throughout his career, Ben has maintained deep relationships with vendors and suppliers, and provides invaluable insight to CRC. His interpersonal skills are embodied in his dealings with people as Administrative VP.
While studying at Cal State Hayward, Derrick joined the Navy's Nuclear Program as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in December 2002. Completing studies in Charleston, South Carolina at the Naval Nuclear Power Command, he was promoted to Nuclear Engineering Technician and assigned to the USS Ohio SSGN 726. He completed training at Norfolk, VA furthering his credentials to include Radiological Control Technician and he completed his tenure at Kings Bay, GA as a Naval Nuclear Instructor.
He has been Director of Operations at CRC, Inc. since 2011 and his skills and training have helped augment the CRC Team with his regimented approach.
Raj graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Bio-Psychology. Raj has been working in the food service industry for the last ten years for many brands, including:

In 2010, he joined CRC, and has since been instrumental in opening 4 Black Bear Diners. He has been involved in the design, construction, and hiring for each restaurant. Raj has also been integral in the training of over 250 employees.
As Director of Operations, he is a great asset in maintaining and exceeding the company standards across all CRC restaurants.
